Many foods produced in Central Asian countries have arrived on the dining tables of Chinese people within less than two weeks after they were released from the factory.
Get up early and have a bowl of chocolate cereals made from Kazakhstan, stir-fry a dish with flaxseed oil from Tajikistan, eat a plate of dried fruits from Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan's unique dairy products, dip them in Kyrgyzstan's honey... Tasting the delicious food on the tip of the tongue of Central Asian countries has become a new choice for many Chinese consumers.
The reporter recently came to the Kazakhstan Pavilion in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu. The starry yurt standing indoors are eye-catching. In this yurt with an area of 120 square meters, the shelves extend to the dome of the yurt, and many other foods imported from Kazakhstan, including camel milk powder, chocolate, candy, etc. are displayed in a scattered manner.
Ren Jianhong, head of the Kazakhstan National Pavilion, pointed to the camel model on the shelves and told reporters: "Once upon a time, the transportation of goods relied on traditional camel fleets. Now the 'steel camel fleet' is a hub city for Central Asia. When Central Asia cargo takes Central Asia trains, the time period is greatly shortened, ranging from 10 days to more than ten days. The single logistics cost can be reduced by 5% to 10%."
The Chengdu Central Asia Public Freight Train will start from May 11, depart through the Horgos Port, and finally arrive in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with a total journey of 4,853 kilometers.
Relevant personnel from the Chengdu International Railway Port Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee introduced that Chengdu regularly operates the Central Asia train, with stations covering four countries including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, extending to Azerbaijan. The Central Asia trains are shipped in fixed points, fixed lines and timely, and have the characteristics of fixed departure time, stable operation time, and low LCL shipping costs, providing efficient and convenient logistics solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
